The short version

Events missing: pull down to refresh, then check you are looking at the right calendar.

Empty household: you signed in without your join code. Settings fixes it.

Events are not showing up

Pull down to refresh. Then check Settings, Integrations to confirm the household is pointed at the calendar you think it is.

If you added the event to a different Google Calendar, it will not appear. Only the household calendar does.

My household is empty

You signed in normally while holding a join code, so you are in a new household of your own. Settings, then "Join a different household", then your code.

Nothing changes when I edit something

Usually a connection problem. The app tells you when a change failed rather than pretending it worked, so look for the banner.

Notifications never arrive

Open Settings, Notifications. If iOS has them switched off for HomeHQ there is a banner at the top saying so. Check quiet hours next.

The wall iPad keeps going to sleep

That is the iPad, not HomeHQ. Set Auto-Lock to Never in the iPad's own Display and Brightness settings, and keep it plugged in.

The beta build expired

Open TestFlight and update HomeHQ. If there is no update, email us and we will push one.

Email admin@home-hq.com. We reply within 24 hours on weekdays, usually faster, and there is a contact form on the support page if you prefer.

Tell us the device, the screen, what you tapped and what you expected. That usually gets it fixed the same week.
