Why one plan

One plan. Everything included.

HomeHQ is one plan — $12/month billed annually (or $14.99 month-to-month), every feature from day one, for your whole household. No tiers, no add-ons, no ads.

The alternatives split things up differently: Skylight and Hearth keep their best features behind a subscription on top of $300–$700 of hardware, and Cozi added a 30-day limit to its free tier in 2024. We'd rather keep pricing simple — and if we ever change it, current subscribers keep their original rate.

Pricing questions

Common pricing questions.

Everything. Shared calendar, meal planner with AI dish photos, chores with points and a weekly recap, lists, two-way Google Calendar and Tasks sync, and the always-on iPad display mode. There are no tiers and no add-ons — one plan, every feature, for your whole household.

Same plan, same features. Annual is $143.99/year, which works out to $12/month — about 2 months free versus paying monthly ($14.99/mo). Pick whichever fits your budget; both bill through Apple and you can switch anytime.

Your subscription already covers your whole household — invite everyone during setup at no extra cost. The annual plan is where the savings are: $12/month effective, vs $14.99 month-to-month.

Because we don't ship hardware. Skylight ($299+) and Hearth ($699) make most of their margin on the screen. HomeHQ uses the iPad you may already have, so the subscription goes into the app — calendar sync, chores, meals, and design. Over three years that's about $432 vs $617–$1,023 for the displays.

No. After the 14-day free trial your Apple ID is billed at the plan you chose — $12/month on annual or $14.99/month on monthly — until you cancel. Apple sends a renewal reminder before each charge, and if we ever change pricing, current subscribers keep their original rate.

Open Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → HomeHQ → Cancel Subscription. The subscription stays active until the end of the billing period. No phone calls, no email forms.

No — we keep it to one simple plan instead of a free tier that limits features over time. If the price doesn't fit, a shared Google Calendar is a real free starting point, and we show you how on our shared family calendar page.

Yes. The HomeHQ app runs on iPhone and iPad, but the family calendar lives in Google Calendar — so anyone on Android or the web can see and add to it. Nobody gets left out.

Apple emails a renewal reminder before each billing cycle, and any unused time is refunded if you ask. We'd rather you stop paying than keep a forgotten subscription — write us at support@familycommandcentre.com and we'll help.
