The short version

Tap Ask Casa on the speed dial to type, or hold the speed dial down to talk.

It can answer questions about the calendar and chores, and add or edit things for you.

Chats are saved. New chat starts fresh, and history is one tap away.

Step by step

Talking to it

Type

Tap the speed dial, then Ask Casa. Ask things like "what does Thursday look like", "who has not done their chores", or "move football to Saturday morning".

Or hold to talk

Press and hold the speed dial button. The microphone opens as your finger goes down, so nothing gets clipped off the start of what you say. Let go when you are finished.

Handy when your hands are full, which is most of the time.

Or dictate into the chat

The microphone icon in the chat box does the same thing without leaving the conversation.

What it can do

Answer questions about what is on, who is busy, and what is outstanding. Add events and chores. Edit or delete things, including one occurrence of a repeating event or the whole series.

It knows who is asking, so "add my dentist appointment" lands on the right person.

Chat history

Every conversation is saved. The history icon lists past chats and the pencil icon starts a new one.

Casa always opens on a fresh chat rather than dropping you back into a week-old conversation. Old ones are there if you want them, and you can delete any of them.

No. Casa runs in the cloud, so it needs a connection.

Yes, and it answers in their context: their chores, their schedule.

Conversations are stored against your account so you can look back at them, and deleting your account deletes them. Read the privacy page for the detail.

Everything it is about to change is shown before it happens, so correct it in the chat, or undo it on the calendar.
